The Rolling Stones on The Dick Martin show

The Rolling stones also took part in the British invasion. They toured America in the summer of 1964. Unlike the Beatles, they did not have a number 1 hit before they came here. Their appearance on that show made them more famous in America. It was clear that they were playing  Rhythm and Blues.

This video shows the Rolling Stones singing R & B songs on the Ed Sullivan show. They were another British group who started out slowly but eventually captured America's heart and soul.
